With nearly two decades in tourism and hospitality, destination marketing has been the constant thread throughout my career, especially when it comes to U.S. destinations.
Since 2015, I have worked with an experienced destination marketing agency, representing destinations such as Philadelphia, The Countryside of Philadelphia, Dallas & Fort Worth, Atlantic City, and Illinois in the German-speaking market. Expanding my work as a freelancer in 2022 to include the state of Arizona and do project work for Visit USA Germany marked an important step toward building something of my own. That journey led to the launch of skope Tourism Marketing in 2024 — a natural extension of my passion for this industry and a platform where my creativity, fresh thinking, and new ideas can thrive.
Drawing on years of hands-on experience, I help clients tap into deep market knowledge, strategic insight, and a trusted network of trade and media partners.

Monika Prummer
Growing up in the German countryside sparked my curiosity about the world beyond my small-town surroundings. That curiosity grew into a passion for travel and led me to a degree in tourism and event management in 2021.
I built a strong foundation at the Bavarian Hospitality Organization, where I gained hands-on experience in event organization, destination branding, and partner collaboration. Bringing ideas to life through creativity, storytelling, and community engagement quickly became the most rewarding part of my work.
This path led to nearly two years at Visit USA Germany, where I deepened my understanding of tourism trade marketing in the German-speaking market and built a trusted industry network.
Today, I support destination marketing initiatives with a structured, reliable and creative approach, helping deliver meaningful trade experiences aligned with long-term marketing goals.
